What are the costs for our collection service?
I. Current tariff for debt collection in Germany
This tariff is used if a creditor in a foreign country has a claim against a debtor in Germany.
In case of success we charge a commission on each amount collected.
Following commission rates are incurred:
- for a creditor in Europe
- commercial claims 10 %
- individual claims 20 %
- a flat rate will be charged in case
no amicable settlement is possible 50,00 €
- for a creditor in the USA and overseas:
- commercial claims 20 %
- individual claims 25 %
- in case no amicable settlement is possible no costs will occur
In addition, the general debt collection conditions of LIC for the debt collection in Germany, are applicable.
II. Current tariff for debt collection in Europe and overseas
This tariff is used if a creditor in Germany has a claim against a debtor in a foreign country.
In case of successful settlement we charge a commission on each amount collected.
Following commission rates are incurred:
- Claims against debtors in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Spain
- commercial claims over 2.500,00 €15 %
- commercial claims 250,00 € up to 2.500,00 €20 %
- commercial claims below 250,00 €50 %
- individual claims50 %
in case amicable collection is not possible we charge the following flat rates:
- commercial claims50 €
- individual claims75 €
- Claims against debtors in Andorra, Baltic States, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, (former) Yugoslavia, Malta, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus
- commercial claims25 %
- individual claims50 %
- in case amicable collection is not possible
we charge a flat rate of 75,00 €
- Claims against debtors in the USA and overseas
- commercial claims over 1.000,00 €25 – 30 %
- commercial claims 250,00 € up to 1.000,00 €50 %
- in case amicable collection is not possible we charge a flat rate of *130,00 €
- Claims below 250,00 € are not accepted
*Some countries charge higher flat rates which will be agreed when placing the order.
In addition, the general debt collection conditions of LIC for the debt collection in foreign countries, are applicable.
III. Conditions for debt collection agencies
For debt collection agencies special conditions are valid which are agreed individually.
IV. Domestic debt collection tariff
This tariff is used if a creditor in Germany has a claim against a debtor in Germany.
The debt collection is handled on the following favourable conditions:
- No success commission
- No binding contract
- No membership
- No basic- and registration fees
In case of success the creditor receives the claim amount without deduction. In case nothing is collected a handling fee of 50,00 € is charged plus VAT.
In addition, the general debt collection conditions of LIC for the domestic debt collection are applicable.
